Original high resolution watermark free photographs are available to purchase for a small fee. Original images are in 3 different resolutions: 2, 10 or 12 Mega Pixel.

All the free images on the site have been reduced in size to a common width of 1200 pixels. The height of the image is the clue to the resolution of the original. The table below shows how to work this out:

To establish the size of an image, make sure it is maximised and then simply right click on it and select 'Properties' or 'View Image Info', depending on your browser. Alternatively, simply email us the name(s) of the photograph(s) you are interested in, and we can confirm the resolution of the original(s) and the cost should you wish to proceed and purchase. Prices

A 2 Mega Pixel photograph costs £3 (approx $4.40, €4.00)

A 10 Mega Pixel photograph costs £8 (approx $11.80, €11.00)

A 12 Mega Pixel photograph costs £12 (approx $17.80, €16.30)

Non-standard photographs (i.e. images that are none of the above) are not available to purchase.

How to Purchase a Photograph

Each photograph on this site has a unique name, and you will need this to make a purchase. When you view the free version of the photo, the name is displayed in the address bar at the top. Please see the example below, where the photograph name is old_irish_cottage_5. Be sure to quote the name of your chosen photograph accurately.

All of the photos on this site have been reduced in resolution to improve download speeds and bandwidth consumption for the free versions. A few of the original pictures are 2 Megapixel, but the vast majority are either 10 Megapixel or 12 Megapixel. Watermark free versions of all photographs at their original resolutions are available to purchase.
